A delicious sweet treat traditionally from the South Africa. It is pronounced 'cooksister', but actually means cake-sister. With this recipe, which is a variation on the original, you can enjoy this treat with less effort in your own home.  It uses a soft dough which is fried in hot oil and then dunked in warm syrup.
