Revelation of John 5
- 1 我又玉座の上に坐し給ふものの右の御手の上に、内外に文字ありて七の印を以て封ぜられたる巻物を見、
- 2 又一の強き天使の聲高く、巻物を開きて其封印を解くに堪ふる者は誰ぞ、と布告するを見たり。
- 3 而も天にも地上にも地下にも、巻物を開きて之を眺むる事だに能くする者なかりき。
- 4 斯て誰も巻物を開きて見るにすら堪へたりと認めらるる者なきにより、我大いに泣き居たりしかば、
- 5 翁の一人我に謂ひけるは、泣く勿れ、看よやユダ族の獅子ダヴィドの萌蘗、勝利を得て巻物を開き、其七封印を解くを得給ふと。
- 6 我見たるに、折しも玉座と四の動物との中央、翁等の中央に屠られたるが如き羔立ちて、是に七の角あり、又全世界に遣られし神の七霊なる七の眼あり。
- 7 羔來りて玉座に坐し給ふものの右の御手より巻物を受けしが、
- 8 其巻物を受くるや、四の動物と廿四人の翁とは羔の前に平伏し、各琴[の如きもの]又聖人等の祈なる香の充ちたる金の香炉を持ちて、
- 9 新しき賛美歌を謳ひ、主よ汝は巻物を受けて其封印を解くに堪へ給へり、其は屠られ給ひて、御血を以て、神の為に諸族、諸語、諸民、諸國の中より人々を贖ひ、
- 10 之を我等の神の為に王たらしめ司祭たらしめ給ひたればなり、彼等は地上を統治すべし、と言ひ居れり。
- 11 我尚見たるに、玉座と動物と翁等との周圍に在る、多くの天使の聲を聞けり、其數萬々億々にして、
- 12 聲高く言ひけるは、屠られ給ひし羔は、権威と富有と、叡智と能力と、尊貴と光榮と祝福とを受くるに堪へ給ふものなり、と。
- 13 又天にも、地上にも地下にも、海上にも何處にも、被造物の悉く言へるを聞けり、玉座に坐し給ふものと羔とに、祝福と尊貴と、光榮と権能と、世々に限なし、と。
- 14 而して四の動物はアメンと言ひ、廿四人の翁は平伏して、世々に限なく活き給ふものを禮拝し奉れり。
