John 2
- 1 三日目にガリレアのカナに婚筵ありて、イエズスの母其處に居れるに、
- 2 イエズスも弟子等と共に招かれ給へり。
- 3 酒盡きければ、母イエズスに向ひ、彼等酒なし、と云ひしに、
- 4 イエズス、婦人よ、其は我と汝とに何かある、我時未だ來らずと曰ひしかば、
- 5 母は給仕等に向ひて、彼が汝等に言ふ所は、何にもあれ之を為せ、と言置けり。
- 6 然てユデア人が潔の習慣に随ひて、其處に二三斗入の石甕六個備へありしが、
- 7 イエズス給仕等に、水を甕に満てよ、と曰ひければ、彼等口まで満たししに、
- 8 イエズス又、今汲取りて筵司に持行け、と曰ひしかば即ち持行けり。
- 9 筵司、酒に化したる水を嘗むるや、給仕等は其由りて來る所を知れども己は之を知らざれば、新郎を呼び、
- 10 之に向ひて、誰も先佳酒を出して、人々の酔へるに至りて劣れる物を出すに、汝は佳酒を今まで取置けるよ、と云へり。
- 11 是イエズスの奇蹟の始にして、之をガリレアのカナに行ひ、己が光榮を顕し給ひしかば、弟子等之を信仰せり。
- 13 其後イエズス、母、兄弟、及び弟子等と共に、カファルナウムに下り給ひしが、皆其處に留る事久しからざりき。ユデア人の過越祭近づきければ、イエズスエルザレムに上り、
- 14 [神]殿の内にて牛、羊、鴿を売る人々、及び坐せる兩替屋等を見給ひしかば、
- 15 縄を以て鞭めきたる物を作り、彼等を悉く[神]殿より逐出し、羊、牛をも逐出し、兩替屋の金を抛散して其案を覆し、
- 16 鴿を売る人々に向ひて、此物等を取退けよ、我父の家を商買の家と為すな、と曰へり。
- 17 弟子等は、録して「汝の家に對する熱心は我を食盡せり」とあるを思出せり。
- 18 斯てユデア人答へてイエズスに云ひけるは、汝如何なる徴を現して此等の事を為すぞ、と。
- 19 イエズス答へて、汝等此[神]殿を毀て、我三日の中に之を起さん、と曰ひしかば、
- 20 ユデア人云ひけるは、此[神]殿は、造るに四十六年を要せしに、汝三日の中に之を起すべきか、と。
- 21 但しイエズスは、己が體の[神]殿を斥して曰ひしなり。
- 22 然れば死者の中より復活し給へる後、弟子等此曰ひたりし事を思出して、聖書とイエズスの曰ひし御言とを信ぜり。
- 23 イエズス過越の祭日に當りてエルザレムに居給ふ間、多くの人、其為し給へる奇蹟を視て、御名を信じたり。
- 24 然れどイエズスは、此等に身を打任せ給はざりき、其は自ら凡ての人を知り、
- 25 又人の心に在る事を知り給へば、人に就て他人の證明を要し給はざる故なり。
