Romans 13
- 1 人各上に立てる諸権に服すべし。蓋権にして神より出でざるはなく、現に在る所の権は神より定められたるものなり、
- 2 故に権に逆らふ人は神の定に逆らひ、逆らふ人々は己に罪を得。
- 3 君主等を懼るべきは、善き業の為に非ずして惡き業の為なり。汝権を懼れざらんと欲するか、善を行へ、然らば彼より誉を得べし。
- 4 其は汝を益せん為の神の役者なればなり。然れど汝若惡を行はば懼れよ、其は彼は徒に剣を帯ぶるものに非ず、神の役者にして惡を行ふ人に怒を以て報ゆるものなればなり。
- 5 然れば服從する事は、汝等に必要にして、啻に怒の為のみならず、亦良心の為なり。
- 6 蓋汝等は亦之が為に税を納む、其は彼等は神の役者にして、之が為に務むればなり。
- 7 然れば汝等凡ての人に負目を返せ、即ち税を納むべき人には税を納め、課物を払ふべき人には之を払ひ、懼るべき者には懼れ、尊ぶべき者は之を尊べ。
- 8 汝等相愛するの外は、誰にも何等の負債あるべからず、其は近き者を愛する人は律法を全うしたる者なればなり。
- 9 蓋「汝姦淫する勿れ、殺す勿れ、盗む勿れ、僞證する勿れ、貪る勿れ」、此外に誡ありと雖も、汝の近き者を己の如くに愛せよとの言の中に約る。
- 10 愛は他人に惡しき事を為ず、故に愛は律法の完備なり。
- 11 斯すべきは是我等が時期を知れる故なり。即ち眠より起くべき時は既に來れり、蓋信仰せし時よりも我等の救霊は今や近きにあり。
- 12 夜は更けたり、日は近づけり、然れば我等は暗の業を棄てて、光の鎧を着るべし、
- 13 日中の如く正しく歩むべくして、饕食と酔酗、密通と淫亂、争闘と嫉妬とに歩む可からず、
- 14 却て主イエズス、キリストを着よ、且惡慾起るべき肉の慮を為すこと勿れ。
