2 Timothy 1
- 1 神の思召によりキリスト、イエズスに於る生命の約束に從ひてキリスト、イエズスの使徒たるパウロ、
- 2 至愛の子チモテオに[書簡を贈る]。願はくは父にて在す神、及び我主イエズス、キリストより、恩寵と慈悲と平安とを賜はらんことを。
- 3 我が祖先以來潔き良心を以て奉事せる神に感謝し奉る、蓋晝夜祈祷の中に絶えず汝を記念し、
- 4 汝の涙を追想して、喜に満たされん為に、汝を見ん事を欲す、
- 5 是汝に在る偽なき信仰の記憶を有てるによりてなり、此信仰は曩に汝の祖母ロイズと母ユニケとに宿りたれば、汝にも亦然ある事を確信す。
- 6 是故に我按手によりて、汝の衷なる神の賜を更に熱せしめん事を勧告す、
- 7 其は神の我等に賜ひたるは、臆する霊に非ずして、能力と慈愛と節制との霊なればなり。
- 8 然れば我主に對する證明と、其囚人たる我とに耻づる事なく、神の能力に應じて福音の為に我と共に苦を忍べ。
- 9 神の我等を救ひ、且聖なる召を以て召し給ひしは、我等の業によれるには非ず、御自らの規定により、又イエズス、キリストに於て世々の以前より我等に賜ひたる恩寵によれるなり。
- 10 此恩寵は、今我救主イエズス、キリストの顕れ給ひしによりて證せられたり、即ち彼は死を亡し、福音を以て生命と不朽とを明にし給ひしなり。
- 11 我は此福音の為に立てられて、宣教者たり、使徒たり、異邦人の教師たり。
- 12 又之が為に斯る苦を受くと雖も之を耻とせず、其は我が信頼し奉れる者の誰なるかを知り、且我に委托し給ひしものを、彼日まで保ち給ふ能力あるを確信すればなり。
- 13 汝我に聞きし健全なる言の法を守るに、キリスト、イエズスに於る信仰と愛とを以てし、
- 14 委托せられし善きものを、我等に宿り給ふ聖霊によりて保て。
- 15 [小]アジアに在る人々の、皆我を離れし事は汝の知る所にして、フィゼロとヘルモゼネスと其中に在り。
- 16 願はくは主オネジフォロの家に憫を賜はんことを、蓋彼は屡我を励まし、我鎖を耻づる事なく、
- 17 ロマに來りし時切に尋ねて我を見出せり。
- 18 願はくは主彼日に於て、彼に主より憫を得させ給はん事を、彼がエフェゾに於て我を厚遇せし事の如何ばかりなりしかは汝の尚能く知る所なり。
