1 Corinthians 2
- 1 兄弟等よ、我も汝等に至りし時、高尚なる談話或は智恵を齎して、神の證明を汝等に告げしに非ず。
- 2 蓋我汝等の中に於てイエズス、キリスト、而も十字架に釘けられ給ひたる其の外は、何をも知るを善しとせず、
- 3 汝等の中に在りて、弱くして且懼れ、且大いに慄く者なりき。
- 4 又我談話、我宣教は人を屈服せしむる人智の言に在らずして、聖霊及び大能を現すに在りき。
- 5 是汝等の信仰が人間の智恵に由らずして、神の大能に由らん為なり。
- 6 然れども完全なる人々の中に於ては、我等智恵の事を語る。但し此世の智恵に非ず、此世に於る亡ぶべき君主等の智恵に非ず、
- 7 語る所は神の不可思議なる智恵にして、即ち（永く）隠れたりしもの、神が代々に先ちて我等の光榮として豫定し給ひしものなり。
- 8 此世の君主等は一人も之を知らざりき。蓋知りたりしならば、彼等は決して光榮の主を十字架に釘けざりしならん。
- 9 然るに録されし如く、神が之を愛し奉る人々に備給ひし事、目も之を見ず、耳も之を聞かず、人の意にも上らざりしを、神己が霊を以て我等に顕はし給ひしなり、
- 10 其は霊は神の深き所に至るまで萬事を洞見し給へばなり。
- 11 蓋人の事は、其身に在る人の霊の外に、如何なる人か之を知るべき。斯の如く神の事も亦神の霊の外に之を知る者なし。
- 12 然て我等が受けしは此世の霊に非ず、神より出で給ふ霊にして、神より我等に賜はりたる事を知らん為なり。
- 13 又我等が之を語るに當りて、人智の教ふる言を以てせず、霊の教へ給ふ所を以てして、霊的事物に霊的事物を引合するなり。
- 14 然るに肉的人物は神の霊の事を承容れず、是霊的に是非すべきものなれば、彼に取りては愚に見えて之を覚る事能はざるなり。
- 15 然るに霊的人物は萬事を是非して、己は誰にも是非せられず。
- 16 蓋誰か主の念を知りて之に諭す者あらんや、我等はキリストの念を有し奉る。

Bible translated by E. Raguet. Emile Raguet(1854-1929) is a Belgian missionary. He came to Japan at 1879. He translated a New Tastament based on Vulgate into classical Japanese in 1910. His translation was treated as the semi-official Catholic translation in Japan.
