Genesis 20
- 1 アブラハム彼處より徒りて南の地に至りカデシとシユルの間に居りゲラルに寄留り
- 2 アブラハム其妻サラを我妹なりと言しかばゲラルの王アビメレク人を遣してサラを召入たり
- 3 然るに神夜の夢にアビメレクに臨みて之に言たまひけるは汝は其召入たる婦人のために死るなるべし彼は夫ある者なればなり
- 4 アビメレク未だ彼に近づかざりしかば言ふ主よ汝は義き民をも殺したまふや
- 5 彼は我に是はわが妹なりと言しにあらずや又婦も自彼はわが兄なりと言たり我全き心と潔き手をもて此をなせり
- 6 神又夢に之に言たまひけるは然り我汝が全き心をもて之をなせるを知りたれば我も汝を阻めて罪を我に犯さしめざりき彼に觸るを容ざりしは是がためなり
- 7 然ば彼の妻を歸せ彼は預言者なれば汝のために祈り汝をして生命を保しめん汝若歸ずば汝と汝に屬する者皆必死るべきを知るべし
- 8 是に於てアビメレク其朝夙に起て臣僕を悉く召し此事を皆語り聞せければ人々甚く懼れたり
- 9 斯てアビメレク、アブラハムを召て之に言けるは爾我等に何を爲すや我何の惡き事を爾になしたれば爾大なる罪を我とわが國に蒙らしめんとせしか爾爲べからざる所爲を我に爲したり
- 10 アビメレク又アブラハムに言けるは爾何を見て此事を爲たるや
- 11 アブラハム言けるは我此處はかならず神を畏れざるべければ吾妻のために人我を殺さんと思ひたるなり
- 12 又我は誠にわが妹なり彼はわが父の子にしてわが母の子にあらざるが遂に我妻となりたるなり
- 13 神我をして吾父の家を離れて周遊しめたまへる時に當りて我彼に爾我等が至る處にて我を爾の兄なりと言へ是は爾が我に施す恩なりと言たり
- 14 アビメレク乃ち羊牛僕婢を將てアブラハムに與へ其妻サラ之に歸せり
- 15 而してアビメレク言けるは視よ我地は爾のまへにあり爾の好むところに住め
- 16 又サラに言けるは視よ我爾の兄に銀千枚を與へたり是は爾および諸の人にありし事等につきて爾の目を蔽ふ者なり斯爾償贖を得たり
- 17 是に於てアブラハム神に祈りければ神アビメレクと其妻および婢を醫したまひて彼等子を產むにいたる
- 18 ヱホバさきにはアブラハムの妻サラの故をもてアビメレクの家の者の胎をことごとく閉たまへり
