提摩太後書 2
- 1 所以，我兒啊，你應當在基督耶穌的恩典裡剛強起來，
- 2 又應當把你在許多見證人面前從我這裡聽見的，交託給那些又忠心又能夠教導別人的人。
- 3 你應當和我同受磨難，好像基督耶穌的精兵。
- 4 當兵的人不讓世務纏身，為要使那招兵的人歡喜。
- 5 競賽的人若不遵守規則，就不能得冠冕。
- 6 勞力的農夫理當先嘗果實。
- 7 你要想想我的話，因為凡事主必給你領悟力。
- 8 你要記得那從死人中復活的耶穌基督，他是大衛的後裔所生的，這就是我所傳的福音。
- 9 我為了這福音受了磨難，甚至像犯人一樣被捆綁起來；可是， 神的話卻不被捆綁。
- 10 因此，我為了選民忍受一切，好叫他們也可以得著在基督耶穌裡的救恩，和永遠的榮耀。
- 11 “我們若與基督同死，就必與他同活；
- 12 我們若能堅忍，就必與他一同作王；我們若不認他，他必不認我們；
- 13 我們縱然不信，他仍然是信實的，因為他不能否定自己。”這話是可信的。
- 14 你要在 神面前把這些事提醒眾人，叮囑他們不要作無益的爭辯；這只能敗壞聽見的人。
- 15 你應當竭力在 神面前作一個蒙稱許、無愧的工人，正確地講解真理的道。
- 16 總要遠避世俗的空談，因為這些必會引人進到更不敬虔的地步。
- 17 他們的話好像毒瘤一樣蔓延；他們當中有許米乃和腓理徒。
- 18 他們偏離了真道，說復活的事已經過去了，於是毀壞了一些人的信心。
- 19 然而， 神堅固的根基已經立定，上面刻著這樣的印：“主認識屬於他的人”和“凡稱呼主名的人都應當離開不義”。
- 20 在富貴人的家裡（“富貴人的家裡”原文作“大房子”），不但有金器、銀器，也有木器、瓦器；有貴重的，也有卑賤的。
- 21 人若自潔，離開卑賤的事，就必作貴重的器皿，成為聖潔，合主使用，預備行各樣的善事。
- 22 你應當逃避年輕人的私慾，要和那些以清潔的心求告主的人，一同追求公義、信心、愛心、和平。
- 23 你要拒絕愚蠢無知的問難；你知道這些事會引起爭論。
- 24 但主的僕人卻不可爭論，總要待人溫和，善於教導，存心忍耐，
- 25 以溫柔勸導那些對抗的人，或許 神給他們悔改的心，可以認識真理。
- 26 他們雖然曾經被魔鬼擄去，隨從他的意思而行，或許也能醒悟過來，脫離魔鬼的陷阱。
