- 1 万军之耶和华啊！你的居所多么可爱。
- 2 我的灵渴想切慕耶和华的院子，我的心身向永活的 神欢呼。
- 3 万军之耶和华，我的王我的 神啊！在你的祭坛那里，麻雀找到了住处，燕子也为自己找到了安置幼雏的巢。
- 4 住在你殿中的，都是有福的，他们还要不断赞美你。（细拉）
- 5 靠你有力量，心中向往通到圣殿大道的，这人是有福的。
- 6 他们经过干旱的山谷，使这谷变为泉源之地，更有秋雨使这谷到处都是水池。
- 7 他们行走，力上加力，直到各人在锡安朝见 神。
- 8 耶和华万军的 神啊！求你听我的祷告；雅各的 神啊！求你留心听。（细拉）
- 9 神啊！求你垂顾我们的盾牌，求你看顾你的受膏者。
- 10 在你院子里住一日，胜过在别处住千日；宁愿站在我 神殿中的门槛上，也不愿住在恶人的帐棚里。
- 11 因为耶和华 神是太阳，是盾牌，耶和华赐下恩惠和光荣；他没有留下一样好处，不给那些行为正直的人。
- 12 万军之耶和华啊！倚靠你的人是有福的。
