- 1 約瑟曾孫、瑪拿西孫、瑪吉子基列後裔之族長、
- 2 就摩西及以色列族長之爲牧伯者曰、耶和華命我主、掣籤分土、予以色列族爲業、亦命我主、以我昆弟西羅非哈之業予其女、
- 3 如適以色列他支派之人、則減我祖之業、而加於其夫之支派、如是、於我籤分之業有損、
- 4 值以色列族禧年、則女之業、必歸於其夫之支派、而我祖之業必減焉、
- 5 摩西遵耶和華命、告以色列族曰、約瑟子之支派、所言是也、
- 6 耶和華命曰、西羅非哈之女、任其適人、惟必適父同宗支派之人、
- 7 如是、以色列族之業、不至由此移彼、以色列各支派之人、守祖遺業、
- 8 凡以色列支派中、承業之女、必適其父同宗支派之人、使以色列族各承厥祖之遺業、
- 9 如是、則業不至由此移彼、以色列支派、必各守其業、
- 10 西羅非哈之女、遂遵耶和華命摩西之言而行、
- 11 其女瑪拉、得撒、曷拉、密迦、挪阿、俱適叔伯之子、
- 12 歸於約瑟子瑪拿西宗族、其業存於父之同宗支派、
- 13 以上所載、乃於摩押平原、約但河濱、耶利哥相對之所、耶和華藉摩西、告以色列族之誡命律例也、
