2 Kings 12
- 1 耶戶七年、約阿施卽位、在耶路撒冷爲王、歷四十年、其母名西比亞、別是巴人也、
- 2 約阿施在祭司耶何耶大訓誨之日、行耶和華所悅、
- 3 惟崇邱未廢、民仍獻祭焚香於其上、○
- 4 約阿施謂諸祭司曰、凡輸入耶和華室、區別爲聖之物、所值通用之金、或各人所估身價之金、或從心所願、輸於耶和華室之金、
- 5 祭司各自相識之人受之、修葺殿宇破壞之處、
- 6 至約阿施王二十三年、殿宇之破壞、祭司尚未修葺、
- 7 故約阿施王召大祭司耶何耶大、與衆祭司、謂之曰、殿宇破壞、胡不修葺、今而後、勿復受相識者之金、宜出此金、修葺殿宇之破壞、
- 8 諸祭司應命、不復受金於民、亦不修葺殿宇、
- 9 惟祭司耶何耶大取一匱、鑿孔於蓋、置諸壇側、在入耶和華室之右、凡輸耶和華室之金、守門之祭司咸納於其中、
- 10 匱中金多、則王之繕寫與祭司長至、將耶和華室所得之金、核而封之、
- 11 以所權之金、付於督耶和華室之工作者、轉予建造之木工及匠役、
- 12 又予瓦工石工、復購材木、及鑿成之石、以修葺耶和華室之破壞、並爲一切修室之用、
- 13 惟所輸耶和華室之金、不以製耶和華室中之銀杯剪盂角、及諸金銀器皿、
- 14 乃以予督工者、修葺耶和華室、
- 15 以金付於督理、轉予工匠、不與核算其數、因其行事誠實也、
- 16 惟補過祭與贖罪祭之金、不入耶和華室、俱歸祭司、○
- 17 時、亞蘭王哈薛、上攻迦特取之、遂定志上耶路撒冷、
- 18 猶大王約阿施、以其祖父猶大王約沙法、約蘭、亞哈謝、所區別之物、與己所獻爲聖之物、及耶和華室與王宮府庫、所有之金、悉饋亞蘭王哈薛、哈薛乃去耶路撒冷、
- 19 約阿施其餘事蹟、凡其所行、俱載於猶大列王紀、
- 20 約阿施之臣叛、弒之於近悉羅之米羅宮、
- 21 弒王之臣、乃示米押子約撒甲、朔默子約薩拔、王與列祖同葬於大衞城、子亞瑪謝嗣位、
