- 1 “你当为以色列的众领袖作一首哀歌，
- 2 说：‘你的母亲是什么？是狮子群中的母狮，它卧在少壮狮子群中，养育它的小狮子。
- 3 它养大其中一只小狮子，这幼狮成了一只少壮的狮子，学会了撕碎猎物，把人吃掉。
- 4 列国听见了，就把它困在他们的坑中；他们用钩子把它带到埃及地去。
- 5 母狮见自己所等候的落空了，所希望的幻灭了，就从它的小狮子中另取出一只，使它成为少壮的狮子。
- 6 它在狮子群中行走；它已成了一只少壮的狮子，它学会了撕碎猎物，把人吃掉。
- 7 它拆毁了他们的城堡，使他们的城市荒凉；因它吼叫的声音，地和其中所充满的都惊恐。
- 8 于是四围的列国从各地来攻击它，把他们的网撒在它身上，把它困在他们的坑中。
- 9 他们把它放进笼里，用钩子带到巴比伦王那里，囚在狱中，使它的声音在以色列众山上不再听见。
- 10 “‘你的母亲像葡萄园里的一棵葡萄树，栽种在水边；因为水源充足，结果累累、枝叶茂盛。
- 11 它有粗壮的树枝可作掌权者的杖；它树身高大，超乎其他茂密枝叶之上；因为它树身高大，枝子众多，远远就可以看见。
- 12 但这葡萄树因 神的烈怒被拔起，摔在地上；东风使它的果子枯干散掉，粗壮的树枝枯槁，被火吞灭。
- 13 现在它被栽种在旷野，在干旱无水之地。
- 14 有火从树枝中的一根发出，吞灭树的果子，以致树上再没有粗壮的树枝，可以作掌权者的杖。’这是一首哀歌，是一首流行的哀歌。”
