1 John 1
- 1 生命の御言に就きて、素より在りたりし所、我等の聞きし所、目にて見し所、熟眺めて手にて扱ひし所、
- 2 即ち生命[たるもの]顕れ給へり、我等は曾て父の御許に在して、我等に顕れ給ひし永遠の生命を見奉り、之を保證し且汝等に告ぐるなり。
- 3 我等が見聞せし所を汝等にも告ぐるは、汝等をも我等に與せしめ、且我等の與をして父と其御子イエズス、キリストと共に在らしめん為、
- 4 之を書贈るは（汝等が喜びて）其喜の全からん為なり。
- 5 然て我等がキリストより承りて汝等に傳ふる所の告は斯なり、神は光にて在し、之に聊も暗黒ある事なし、
- 6 我等若彼に與し奉ると言ひて暗黒を歩まば、是僞りて眞を行はざるなり。
- 7 然れど彼が光に在すが如く、我等も光の中に歩まば、是互に相與して、其御子イエズスの御血は、我等を凡て罪より潔むるなり。
- 8 若我等罪なしと言はば、自ら欺く者にして、眞理は我等の中に在らず。
- 9 若我等罪を告白せば、神は眞實正義に在して我等の罪を赦し、我等を凡て不義より潔め給ふべし。
- 10 若我等罪を犯したる事なしと言はば、神を虚言者とし奉るものにして、御言我等に在らざるなり。
