Job 35
- 1 الیهو به ادامۀ سخنان خود گفت:
- 2 «ایوب، آیا جایز است که ادعا می کنی: «من در نظر خدا بی عیب هستم.»
- 3 یا به خدا می گوئی: «اگر گناه کنم بر تو چه تأثیر دارد و چه فایده اگر گناه نکنم؟»
- 4 من به تو و به دوستانت که همراه تو هستند، جواب می دهم.
- 5 به آسمان نگاه کن و ببین که ابر ها چقدر بلند هستند.
- 6 اگر گناه کنی، گناه تو چه صدمه ای به خدا می رساند؟ اگر خطاهای تو زیاد شوند، بر او چه تأثیر دارد؟
- 7 یا اگر پاک باشی چه فایده ای به او می رسانی و چه چیزی به او می بخشی؟
- 8 بدی و خوبی تو در انسانها تأثیر می کند.
- 9 وقتی مردم ظلم می بینند، فریاد بر می آورند و می نالند و می خواهند که کسی به آن ها کمک کند.
- 10 اما آن ها برای کمک به سوی خدائی که خالق شان است و در تیره ترین روزهای زندگی به آن ها امید می بخشد
- 11 و آن ها را داناتر از حیوانات و پرندگان هوا ساخته است، رجوع نمی کنند.
- 12 آن ها فریاد می زنند، اما خدا فریاد شان را نمی شنود، زیرا اشخاص مغرور و شریر هستند.
- 13 فریاد شان سودی ندارد، چرا که خدای قادر مطلق نه فریاد آن ها را می شنود و نه به آن توجه می کند.
- 14 تو می گوئی که خدا را دیده نمی توانی، اما صبر کن، او به دعوای تو رسیدگی می کند.
- 15 تو فکر می کنی که خدا بدکاران را جزا نمی دهد و به گناه شان توجه نمی کند.
- 16 این حرفها همه پوچ و بی معنی اند و تو از روی نادانی حرف می زنی.
