箴言 9
- 1 智慧建造自己的房屋，凿成七根柱子。
- 2 它宰杀牲口，调配美酒，摆设筵席。
- 3 它差派几个使女出去，自己又在城里的高处呼喊：
- 4 “谁是愚蒙人，可以到这里来！”又对无知的人说：
- 5 “你们都来，吃我的饼，喝我调配的酒。
- 6 愚蒙人哪！你们要丢弃愚蒙，就可以存活，并且要走在智慧的道路上。”
- 7 纠正好讥笑人的，必自招耻辱；责备恶人的，必遭受羞辱。
- 8 你不要责备好讥笑人的，免得他恨你；要责备智慧人，他必爱你。
- 9 教导智慧人，他就越有智慧；指教义人，他就增加学问。
- 10 敬畏耶和华是智慧的开端，认识至圣者就是聪明。
- 11 因为借着我，你的日子就必增多，你一生的年岁也必加添。
- 12 如果你有智慧，你的智慧必使你得益；如果你讥笑人，你就必独自担当一切后果。
- 13 愚昧的妇人喧哗不停，她是愚蒙，一无所知。
- 14 她坐在自己的家门口，坐在城中高处的座位上，
- 15 向过路的人呼叫，就是向往前直行的人呼叫：
- 16 “谁是愚蒙人，可以到这里来！”又对无知的人说：
- 17 “偷来的水是甜的，在暗中吃的饼是美味的。”
- 18 人却不知道她那里充满阴魂，她的客人是在阴间的深处。
