- 1 耶哥尼雅王與太后、及宦豎、猶大耶路撒冷牧伯、藝匠鐵工、去耶路撒冷後、先知耶利米自耶路撒冷、致書於俘囚尚存之長老、曁祭可先知庶民、凡尼布甲尼撒、自耶路撒冷虜至巴比倫而尚存者、
- 2 耶哥尼雅王與太后、及宦豎、猶大耶路撒冷牧伯、藝匠鐵工、去耶路撒冷後、先知耶利米自耶路撒冷、致書於俘囚尚存之長老、曁祭可先知庶民、凡尼布甲尼撒、自耶路撒冷虜至巴比倫而尚存者、
- 3 託沙番子以利亞薩、希勒家子基瑪利達之、斯二人、乃猶大王西底家、遣詣巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之使、
- 4 書曰、萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝云、凡我所使、自耶路撒冷被虜至巴比倫之俘囚、我今語爾、
- 5 爾當建宅而居、植園而食其果、
- 6 娶妻室、育子女、爲子娶婦、使女適人、俾生子女、在彼繁衍、而不少減、
- 7 我使爾被虜所至之邑、宜求其安、亦爲之祈禱耶和華、蓋斯邑平康、爾亦平康、
- 8 萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝曰、勿爲爾中之先知與卜筮所惑、爾曹所夢、亦勿信從、
- 9 耶和華曰、彼託我名而預言、乃妄誕也、我未遣之、
- 10 耶和華曰、巴比倫歷七十年、我必眷顧爾、成我嘉言於爾、使爾返於斯土、
- 11 耶和華曰、我爲爾所存之念、我自知之、乃平康之念、非災害之念也、俾爾終有所望、
- 12 爾必籲我、往而禱我、我必垂聽、
- 13 爾專心尋求我、則必遇之、
- 14 耶和華曰、我必爲爾所遇、返爾俘囚、自我驅爾所至諸國諸境集爾、返我使爾被虜而離之地、耶和華言之矣、
- 15 爾曹曰、耶和華在巴比倫、爲我興起先知、
- 16 故耶和華論踐大衞位之王、與居斯邑之民、卽爾昆弟未被虜而出者、
- 17 萬軍之耶和華曰、我必使鋒刃饑饉疫癘臨之、俾若劣無花果、因惡而不可食、
- 18 且以鋒刃饑饉疫癘逐之、播散於天下萬邦、在我驅其所至之國、受人呪詛、令人駭異、而被嗤笑侮辱、
- 19 耶和華曰、我屢遣我僕諸先知詣彼、夙興而遣之、惟彼不聽我言、
- 20 故爾俘囚、卽我所遣、自耶路撒冷至巴比倫者、宜聽耶和華言、○
- 21 萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝、論哥賴雅子亞哈、及瑪西雅子西底家曰、彼託我名、與爾言誑、我必付之於巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒手、彼必殺之、爲爾目擊、
- 22 猶大被虜之衆、在巴比倫者、必以之爲詛曰、願耶和華使爾若西底家亞哈、爲巴比倫王炙之以火、
- 23 彼在以色列中、行愚妄之事、淫其鄰之妻、僞託我名、言我所未命者、我知之、亦證之、耶和華言之矣、○
- 24 論尼希蘭人示瑪雅、爾當曰、
- 25 萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝云、爾以己名、致書於耶路撒冷民衆、及祭司瑪西雅子西番雅、與諸祭司曰、
- 26 耶和華立爾爲祭司、以代祭司耶何耶大、俾在耶和華室爲督、凡狂妄之徒、自稱爲先知者、爾當執之、拘以項械、加以桎梏、
- 27 今有自稱爲先知者、亞拿突人耶利米、爾奚不責之、
- 28 蓋彼致書至巴比倫、告我曰、被虜之時必久、爾當建宅而居、植園而食其果、
- 29 祭司西番雅誦此書、使耶利米聞之、
- 30 耶和華遂諭耶利米曰、
- 31 致書告諸俘囚曰、耶和華論尼希蘭人示瑪雅云、緣示瑪雅與爾預言、我未遣之、惟彼使爾妄誕是恃、
- 32 故耶和華曰、我必罰尼希蘭人示瑪雅、爰及苗裔、蓋彼出言悖逆耶和華、必無一人生存、居於民中、亦不得見我所將錫我民之福、耶和華言之矣、
